Yoga with weights is one of the best ways to achieve overall physical fitness and personal well-being physically, mentally and spiritually. This type of exercise supports building core stability, bone density, and balance. This class offers a challenging beginner- to intermediate-level yoga class.

Yoga with weights movements are done slowly in a controlled, safe, and effective manner. The exercises stimulate muscle toning, strength, and coordination. You develop flexibility, keeping muscles and joints limber and active. Yoga with weights offers a harmonious relationship that will help you relax, breathe well, renew energy, and keep you feeling and looking your best. Yoga with weights is an excellent way to increase muscle mass and bone density while still retaining the mental and relaxation benefits of traditional yoga.

Sherri Baptiste is an inspirational teacher at the forefront of yoga training in America. She is the daughter of two yoga-health-fitness pioneers, Magana and Walt Baptiste, sister of Baron Baptiste. Born and raised in San Francisco, she he has been teaching yoga since her teens.
